RULE REVISIONS

Advantage Clarifications

  • Talents: Limited to 1 Talent per character
  • Signature Gear: Provides item insurance rather than additional funds.

Armor and Damage Reduction

  • All Damage Reduction is treated as quasi-ablative, being reduced by 1 for every 20 points of damage received.

Impossible Actions

  • Any roll with effective level of 0 or lower after all bonuses and penalties have been applied cannot succeed.

Initiative

  • Characters with tied Basic Speed act simultaneously, with all effects of actions occurring after all actions on that turn have resolved.

Ranged Combat

  • Any Character may only use Active Defense against one Ranged Attacker per turn
  • Defense against ranged attacks requires an All-Out Defense
  • Instead of applying Active Defense against one Attacker, a Character may roll Dodge to apply a penalty to all ranged attacks against them that turn equal to the Character’s Margin of Success
